Great Chinese food to go or eating in the restaurant! I've been coming here for years since 98' and it's a must stop

We have been going to Suily's Cafe for years and we always find ourselves going back to get their dishes. The menu is on the wall when you enter and since we order to go often, we choose our options before ordering with the staff, who are always so friendly. Everything comes out so fast and is in such big portions that it lasts us a few days to finish. Singapore Rice Noodles - One of our favorites to get. It has a light curry flavor and is a balance of salty, sweet and slight level of spice. Typically has bbq pork, shrimp, eggs and onions which adds different flavors and textures to the dish. Stir Fry String Beans - Our first time ordering this and it was pretty solid. The beans had a good bite to them, were cooked nicely and had a nice garlicky flavor. Salt & Pepper Spare Ribs - Always has a good salty and spicy flavor from the seasonings and the jalapenos. This time though the meat pieces were either fully bone or were mainly fat so it wasn't as enjoyable to eat as before. Sweet & Sour Pork - Also our first time ordering and is one of my favorite Chinese dishes. This one surprised us and we really enjoyed it. The meat was soft, coated in the sweet and sour sauce, which paired nicely with the cooked pineapple and the crunchier vegetables. The prices are very worth it for the dishes and amount of food you're getting. Highly recommend it if you're in Daly City and want some solid Chinese dishes.

Good food great prices fast service 5 visit within the last last month They have party trays Very large menu

The 4 isn't for the ambiance but for the sheer fact that for 3 decades, that dude that takes the orders never misses work. He is so consistent. Best Chinese takeout in the Daly City universe. Stick to over rice and entrees.

Frankly we've passed by this restaurant many times but never bothered to go in until today. We ordered sweet and sour chicken over rice, creamed corn and cod over rice and seafood chow mein. This is old school Cantonese food done right. Portions are huge and the food came out piping hot. I really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Service is perfunctory and no frills. Restaurant looks like it was updated but we ordered take out so can't comment on how it looks. This is a good affordable option

Suily's satisfies my Chinese food cravings EVERY TIME. They're quick, the food is always solid, and in this crazy time of inflating prices, still a great bargain. The team here has been knocking out Chinese classics for as long as I can remember. The food is always fresh, and the portions are generous as well. I mostly do takeout, but dine in is available as well, but don't expect anything fancy. Come for the food, leave happy and full, with maybe some leftovers as well. Their soy sauce chow mein is *chef's kiss*. Pro tip: don't rely on old photos on yelp or google, their menu does change from time to time. See my menu pics from the most recent visit. Happy eating!

It doesn't get any cheaper than this nowadays for a classic Cantonese home cooked meal. I've driven by Suily's at the corner for years and years. Their location is highly visible and parking is always tough. The neighborhood is a little sketchier than what we're used to but tonight, we're suffering from day 2 of the winter storm that blew out our power. We arrived on a Monday night around 6:30 -- talk about bare bones, but don't like the roughness deter you. Suily's has been around for all these years for a good reason! We ordered some of our childhood classics: D2. Seafood Panfried Noodles $13 I13. Beef with Satay Sauce $12.75 H27. Deep Fried Crispy Tilapia $11.75 G3. Salt And Pepper Pork Chop $12.50 J18. Chicken wings with garlic sauce $12.50 Everything was really tasty but I would definitely recommend the salt and pepper pork chops if you're looking for your money's worth in taste and portions. A surprisingly good option were the chicken wings -- if you like that tangy fried and glazed jumbo wing, you're in for a real treat! The pan fried noodles were a classic that pairs well in every meal with every dish. Our fried fish is normally flounder but I didn't see that on the menu so we tried the tilapia -- it's a hefty fish! Last on the list was the satay beef, which is sautéed a little differently than what I'm used to. They also used a lot of zucchini and yellow squash but there's a decent amount of sliced beef included as well. Service was not bad for a Chinese place. It's a 3 guys operation with 2 chefs in the back cranking out all the requests. They never missed a beat juggling the endless takeout orders and it seems they have quite a few regular bachelors coming in for their nightly order. The restaurant is small and doesn't seat a lot. It's cold and there's not much to look at but your tummy and tastebuds should be very satisfied with the abundance. I didn't see a sign for cash only but it looks like everyone basically paid in cash anyway. If the parking was a little easier to manage, I can see picking up takeout as a regular run -- total price $68.70

**Childhood memories unlocked** I've been a long time customer since I was 5 yr old and now I'm 30 yr old. My family and I used to come here practically once a month to treat ourselves to some really good and comforting Chinese food. Suily's Cafe has been around for many years, and I noticed that the quality and taste has stayed the same til this day. I don't eat Suily's as often as I used to. But when I crave Chinese food, this is the only place worth going to. I always know what I want to get without looking at the menu. It's a family owned business, and has always been CASH ONLY. So remember to bring cash, if not there's an ATM at Walgreens across the street. Simon and his Dad are the owners! Always hardworking! I'm not sure if his dad is still around, but they always used to talk to us throughout our meal. I remember they used to have the lunch specials posted up on the wall. Not anymore, I think they replaced it with their full menu. My family and I were craving Suily's for Christmas Eve dinner. They closed early at 6p. Luckily when we got there, Simon was very kind to take us as his last customers to order to-go since he had a ton of catering orders and regular to-go orders. Now I don't eat all the dishes we ordered, since I'm a pesce-pollotarian. Order of the night ~~ * Salt & Pepper Squid (5/5 always a go to order for the rest of my family) * Salt & Pepper Pork Chop (5/5 same with this one) * Beef w/ Green Beans (5/5 can never go wrong) * Chicken Corn Soup (5/5 the best chicken corn soup hands down) * Shrimp Scrambled Egg w/ Oyster Sauce (5/5 one of the more simple dishes, but so flavorful and comforting) * Pan Fried Noodle Combo (5/5 literally no where else has pan fried noodles as good as Suily's) * Chow Fun w/ Shrimp & Gravy (5/5 all-time favorite) * Rock Cod w/ Tofu & Bok Choy Claypot (5/5 all-time favorite) I will always be a returning customer!
